Day 05 - The pairing with the least chemistry?
A tie between Bo/Dyson (because seriously, when did that become a good idea? Two episodes in and I hate it) and Arthur/Gwen. There's a lot more chemistry between Gwen and Lancelot, while most of you know my feelings about who Arthur is best suited with...

Yeah, I can enjoy (at least in some cases) different ships on screen than I ship in fandom but with Arthur/Gwen it doesn't work at all. I love Arthur and I adore Gwen but together they make me want to weep. Arthur has better chemistry with pretty much everyone else and Gwen had such insane amount of chemistry with Lancelot, imho, that I just want to go... whyyyyyy oh whyyy?

I dunno if they had tried to be a little slower with it? It seemed like they suddenly remembered in S2 that 'hey, wait! this was supposed to have Arthur/Gwen in it, right?ยด and forced it in. I'm not sure if it had changed anything... maybe not? Not the chemistry part at least, but... it might have made it a little less forced?

Lol. I still want to cling to Sookie/Bill (though it's been making me headdesk lately). I really liked it in S1, you know... it felt like Bella/Edward done right. With Bill being an actual vampire whose only danger wasn't accidentally sparkling like a gay unicorn and Sookie (how sad is it that this is counted as a plus?) was able to actually stand upright on her feet and wasn't... most likely a bit mentally defect, too. It felt like altogether better version of the human/vampire romance.

I liked the premise (the sense of danger & dating a vampire and it not being just hugs and puppies) and I definitely saw chemistry there, but... sadly it seems Sookie's losing her IQ points the more she's around Bill. :(
