Why am I so stupid...

I've been pretty busy the last few weeks outside of work

* I went to Waterloo to send ghostj away, since she is moving out of Ontario. We went dancing, ghostj and fleshlycherry nearly got into a fight with some douchebags who couldn't take the hint that we weren't interested, and themega5 gave me an awesome Dalek phone charm that spins and lights up when I get a phone call or text.

* I went to FanExpo (aka The Great Canadian Line Con). There, I didn't spend much money, but got my picture taken with the Impala, saw James Marsters in concert, and went to a Q&A with William Shatner. The actually had to close down the convention hall at one point because they'd over sold tickets, but otherwise it was very fun. In the future, I might actually have to plan what I want to do, but I keep getting overwhelmed by the sheer volume of scheduling, so I tend to tag along with others.

* I went to the family cottage for the first and only time this year with my brother and parents. We had one nice day which I spent with my mom, then at the beach, and the rest of the time the weather was under 15 C. I did manage to hit up the awesome french fry shack, the delicious fish and chip restaurant, and the pizza buffet, which made me happy. I read six books in five days, nearly finished the Big Bang, and got caught up with my brother.

* I went to my friend's cottage for the weekend. We didn't leave Guelph until 9:30 pm on the Friday, and it was a 4 hour drive. Part of the drive was undertaken by a girl who barely has her license. I thought I was going to die. They bought too many bags of chips, not enough real food, and there weren't enough beds for everyone. They also drank too much (which means a lot coming from me), and smoke a lot of pot (which I don't like the smell of). That said, I had a pretty amazing time. I got to go swimming, we played some really fun card and board games (the best being Telestration which is a cross between Pictionary and Telephone). I also got to catch up with some old friends, who I dislike a lot less when I don't have to rely on them for anything. Finally, I spent a significant amount of time with my ex, and I think he's finally over me. Things were not awkward between us, which makes me happy. He also got a 400$ speeding ticket and nearly had his license revoked, which made me smug, because he's a crazy driver.

In other news, I'm crazy. I realized the challenges I've committed myself to, and I'm going to be very busy.

Alas, I don't have a time turner, the Doctor only picks up British companions, and my car is an old Ford.

Although I also saw a Delorean at the FanExpo. I'd forgotten about it. I think it may have been towed.

Captain Jack is American and one of the old Doctors had an alien companion, so there's still hope for us! :D

I'd like to tow a Delorean - straight home to my garage. XD

That just might be my best bar story every...with the possible exception of that time bar!boyfriend came and danced with me (and started kissing me) while you know who was being a douche and totally not at all, no way, nu-uh, staring at me.

Also #1: You are crazy! I will laugh when you are going insane trying to plot out and write all that...actually, I will sit quietly eating my delicious Under The Volcano food and nodding along at you :p

Also #2: We should figure a plan for this weekend to insure boots, right amounts of leather, and black eyeliner.

Um... yeah...

You know who is old and fat now (S's words, not mine), but the bar story is indeed awesome.

Also #1: how do you feel about editting numbers one and two on my list. I got an extention for the first, but it still needs to be in by the 21st.

Also #2: When do you want to come down, and would you rather stay over in Guelph or London? Spoke to our awesome British friend, and she can't come, so it's the two of us, and K if you want.

Hilarious part, themega5 saw him earlier that same week and called to tell me the exact same thing. Like, literally, "ugly and old" :p
